I can’t tell you how many times this has happened to me. I walk into a standard computer store looking for a serial ATA drive to use as a mirror backup drive for me new G5. As soon as the sales rep finds out I’m a Mac-user, he’s all over me telling me, "No! We don’t service Macs! Go away!" It usually takes me a few minutes to reassure him. "No, really, my Mac can use this SATA drive, no problem. I can install it myself and everything, just calm down."
