I’ve been quite busy getting ready to be married in one week, though I’ve been using my lunchbreaks at work to continue my comic. It’s been working out great, and I can see myself doing this a lot more down the road. Anyhow, enjoy the latest comic, and I’m hoping to get one more out the door before the honeymoon!
I spent this weekend with nearly fifty other members of Comic Genesis hanging out together in St. Louis for this year’s “cookout” meetup. For a four-day weekend we got to hang out and draw together, dance together, and check out the city with only minimal injuries to go around. I was able to get plenty of pictures while I’ve been here, and I have the photos available on my Flickr account if you’d like to check it out. I also have full resolution copies of our group photo, so all of you who were there can download a copy for yourselves.

Oh, and Monday’s comic will be a bit late as I arrived home late and am still recovering from the trip. -_-;
I hope you all got out to your local comic book shops to celebrate Free Comic Book Day, and perhaps grab a copy of the new Comic Genesis book. I was the editor of the book this year, and we got some great artists featured in it. If you missed your chance to pick up a copy, there will be some available at the Keenspot booth during the Comic-Con International in San Diego, July 25th to July 29th of 2007. They will likely be on sale at Keenspot’s swag store online as well.

The following comics are working together on a project to put together a comic book for Free Comic Book Day on May 7, 2007! It’s a chance for many of us realize a lifelong dream: to see our work in print! We’re going to need help, however, because in order to have the book printed and distributed to comic book shops around the United States, we’re going to need to raise $2000 in order to do it!
